Turning

Turning is a method of chip machining (i.e., removing excess material) that is used to machine the exterior and interior surfaces of objects having the shape of rotating solids. Turning consists in separating by means of a lathe knife a layer of material from an object in order to obtain a desired shape.
In order to provide the highest quality services in turning with the use of numerically controlled technology, we use OKUMA machine tools. Japanese technology allows us to process single elements as well as more complicated series, thanks to which we are able to adjust to individual customer needs. The use of specialized tools gives us the possibility of performing complete machining of complex elements including full machining of side surfaces.
